Phenotype
Only approximately 15 chloroplasts per mesophyll cell; i.e. a 7-8 fold reduction compared to wild type. Chloroplasts are very large about 6 fold larger than wild type and have extensive lobing, most are abnormally shaped. Plants appear as normal wild type.
