Phenotype
defective in the induction of ethylene biosynthesis by cytokinin; lacks the ethylene-mediated triple response in the presence of cytokinin; subtle effects on the morphology of adult plants (yellowish areas at the leaf margins); reduced shoot initiation in tissue culture and reduction of anthocyanin in light grown seedlings in response to cytokinin.
